Jumbo Seafood - Sehr Schmeckt!

Met up with the boys in Singapore, we had a very productive bitching session highlighting the vagaries of rising indian population at INSEAD, body odor and colleagues, Saroj Mishra imminent move to Hong Kong and closed the discussion reliving some old stories about certain luminescent personlaities that we all spent time with! The food at Jumbo is still first class and the suprise 'man of the match' was the Chilli venison. Singapore is cool, I mean literally cool. The jetways have airconditioning on in full blast, their taxi's are fridges and you need to wear a jacket after sundown in the office. Nokia regional headquaters is in Singapore, so perhaps the frequency of my visits will go up (or maybe none at at all !) once the merger is completed. Munich on the other hand is hot. I mean digusting hot, the thought of winter right now is sexy! Beer consumption is high, fans are sold out, italian ice creams is the staple diet and all the meeting rooms with airconditioning are always booked. During the day most of the streets are deserted but everyone crawls out of the woodwork after 9:30. It seems to be baby season AGAIN, a friend of mine from Singapore just had a baby boy, Karode is again a proud father, my cousin in Delhi had a boy, my boss (wife) is expecting and some of our other friends will be popping soon. And from all indications there are many more in the pipeline, some people have been busy the past couple of months. Time to buy some Pampers stock as I seem to be losing money on tech stock anyway.
