Cherickel Top 10 for 2006
| 2006 has been a bit of a mixed year, lots of high points and some dips. Here is what I think are some best moments from this year in no particular order.. 1. Visiting the Bayon Temple in Angkor 2. Fish tandoori at the Mamak store in Bangsar, KL 3. Finding my apartment in Munich 4. Hiking up to see the Storseterfossen waterfalls in Geiranger, Norway 5. The third Maβ at the Oktoberfest 6. Suprise visit to Pune for my birthday in february. Priya was still in Pune 7. When I got my bonus letter 8. Watching the Germany-Argentina match in Gaertnerplatz 9. Best movie - Worlds fastest Indian 10. Being with family in Munich during the summer. God has been kind this past year, perhaps the most professionally centric year I have had so far but also probably the most exciting one too. HAPPY NEW YEAR - May the new Year bring you the most cheer and help you celebrate life more actively! |

post a commentDude,
When the eff were you in Cambodia? I had one of my Aquarian epiphenies and decided on a Cambodia trip 2 days before I was actually there...between the 23rd and the 28th of December. Two days in PP, the rest of the time in Siam Riep...Bayon would be my No. 1 sight in the Angko Complex too...Angkor Wat, i thought was just a tad bit overrated...being the biggest and best preserved and all that.
But, had an amazing time...loved the architecture...even the slightly tacky Euro-Khmer style in PP's Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace...
So, did we just miss each other in Kambhuj???
Cheers
